Hysteroscopy in Wesley Chapel

A hysteroscopy can be used to diagnose and treat various uterine conditions, such as abnormal bleeding, infertility, and fibroids. Hysteroscopies can be performed in a doctor's office or in an operating room, and may involve sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the extent of the procedure.

Hysteroscopy (In-Office or Hospital)

Using a tiny camera, our surgeons are able to visualize the uterine cavity which gives us valuable knowledge as we assess, diagnose or treat common gynecologic conditions. Some hysteroscopic procedures we perform include:

  • Hysteroscopic removal of fibroids and polyps
  • Diagnostic hysteroscopy for the evaluation of irregular bleeding and/or infertility
  • Hysteroscopy, D&C for the evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding
  • Endometrial ablation by Novasure or Hydrothermal ablation
